Dr. Michael Heitt is a licensed psychologist with expertise in working with physicians, lawyers, psychologists, executives and other professionals who are dealing with personal and work-related challenges. He is also a psychological consultant to small and mid-size companies on a variety of workplace and organizational issues.

Dr. Heitt is on the faculty of Loyola University Maryland, and has been on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. He served on the Ethics Committee for the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA) since 2003, chairing the Committee for two years and co-chairing for two years, except for when he chaired the MPA Colleague Assistance Committee between 2010 and 2016.

Dr. Heitt earned his Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and has worked in a variety of settings, including employee assistance programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, emergency departments and not-for-profit organizations.
